Home Decor

I added Glimmer Mist to create a sheen on all the little cards with the letters on them. Makes a nice gift at Christmas!

2 Corinthians 5 Scrapping your FAITH

Above is the close up of the journaling. I did not do anything fancy with the font, I just wrote it out in my own hand using 8 tags. You take your favorite passage and put it on 8 tags starting at the top. Embellish as desired and frame.

Tag Art "Virtues"

9 tags with the fruit of the Spirit/virtues. I used tons of chalks, dyes, alcohol inks, Pebbles creme chalks, embossing. The tags are placed on a 16"x 20" matting, and framed.

Here are a couple of tags up close:

Something NEW

Have you ever wanted to practice techniques, but don't want to waste paper, ink, embossing powder, etc ? Supplies are expensive! TRY TAG ART!! Check out Tim Holtz's website for some great Tag Art:

So, why not combine some of your experimenting with Tag Art?? I am going to practice embossing, and some inking, and see if I can turn it into a wall project. I have an old picture frame and nothing to go in it....check back for some "blow to blow" posts to keep up with my progress!!

Problem SOLVED?

So, you are shopping at your local scrapbook store and they have a great sale going on. You find two (2) Little Yellow Bicycle fold-out albums...both for boys. At 85 cents, you can't pass them by. They turn out great, but what about the girls???

If you are any good at making templates, you can take any foldable album sold on 12"x12" sheets and create a permanent template to use over and over. All you need do is place the punched out item on a sheet, draw around it and then cut it out. Make sure you mark fold and cut lines. When you cut it out, make sure to cut on the inside of your line, not on the line or before the line, but inside the lines.

So, what is the problem??? Before I was even aware of it, I had made 7 (yes 7) of these cute little albums!! Some for girls, some for boys, some for TEENS...and some for moms!! The possibilities are endless. All you need is the template, the right coordinating paper (double sided card stock), embellishments, and TIME. Here is 3 of the fronts I made this week:

Thanks and credit goes to Little Yellow Bicycle!
